Spaeda worked with Nerrols Primary School in Taunton on an exciting whole-school art project, boosting arts education across the curriculum. Led by Spaeda artist, James Lake, the project introduced students to sculpture through his inspiring animation 'Another Day,' showcased during a whole school assembly. Following this, James worked with six classes to create two tree sculptures, reflecting the school's identity and local environment.
These stunning relief sculptures, featuring trunks and branches by older students, leaves by Reception class, and birds by Years one to three, are now proudly displayed within the school.
We extend our thanks to James Lake for his invaluable contribution to Nerrols Primary School, through his inspiring artwork and dedication to fostering creativity among the students. We'd also like to thank Nerrols Primary School for their enthusiasm and collaboration in making this project a success!
