This activity supports the Key Stage 2 programmes of study for Art and Design and Design and Technology with links to the Maths curriculum. Arts Educator Linda Green differentiates between the subjects, and supports skills development in both, through one simple activity. With ideas for displaying final outcomes, this resource will encourage Year 5 and 6 students to experiment with everyday materials. Using card and gummed tape, you will be guided to lead the creation of 3D reliefs inspired by artist Louise Nevelson. The step by step video demonstration and accompanying resource sheet include everything you need to take this activity into the classroom.
