About the event
Note: You must have attended our Beginners course in order to attend the Refresher Course
If you have attended our Role of the Art Coordinator Beginners training within the last five years and want to update your knowledge, access current resources or refresh your skills, this is the course for you.
This course will help keep your skills up to date and give you the chance to meet and network with peers.
Designed for those with a responsibility for leading or teaching art and design at Key Stage 1 or 2, our one day courses include practical, hands-on ideas for classroom art activities and will equip you with understanding and approaches to successfully lead the art and design curriculum in your school.
Participants are further supported by our network meetings to consolidate learning and share ideas and experiences. SENCOs will need to attend the Creative Leaders Network and primary art leaders the Primary Art Network.
Set within the context of the National Curriculum priorities and the new Ofsted framework, this course is led by experienced artist and teacher, Natasha Rand.
Previous attendees have said:
