Everyone interested in a creative education for Somerset Children and Young People

An exhibition of collaborative sketchbooks by Somerset artists and arts educators.

SWITCHBOOK was an innovative trial project aiming to bring together artists and art educators working side-by-side on a continuous sketchbook journey. Following this pilot phase Spaeda are fundraising to create a community of artists and arts educators who are interested in learning through making art. Thanks to the support of Taunton Deane Borough Council and the Taunton Teaching Alliance we are celebrating the end of this phase with an exhibition of collaborative drawing and a programme of arts activity for young people and families. Half day arts workshops will make creativity fun and easy for all ages and abilities and will be led by experienced artists involved.

Exhibition runs Friday 14th October – Thursday 24th Nov, times vary. This free event will be open during Brewhouse Box Office hours. It may be closed during performances.

The initial trial for Switchbook, was made possible with the support of InspirED with funding from the RIO Challenge Fund. The workshop programme is supported by Taunton Dean Borough Council.
