We would like to invite you to attend a Superact Training weekend on how to deliver the BTEC Award Supporting Employability and Personal Effectiveness.

The aim of the award is to use an arts programme to gain employability and personal effectiveness skills which is accredited by Edexcel.  Primarily we will be looking to deliver this award with young people who are Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET) and those at Risk of offending.

By attending this training event, you will be able to work with Superact to deliver the award throughout the UK. The training will be delivered by Lead Musician Mauricio Velez and BTEC specialist Tom Hamill.

Superact is a registered Edexcel Centre, so we administer all paperwork for the award and certificate learners.

The training will be offered over two weekends, you only need to attend one weekend:

7th & 8th May 2011 10:00am- 4:00pm on both days

4th & 5th June 2011 10:00am- 4:00pm on both days

The training will be held at Somerset College in Taunton, Somerset.

Superact is offering this training free of charge to Somerset based artists.  However we will not be able to pay an attendance fee or expenses, we ask that you give your time voluntarily on this occasion.  The aim is for this training to lead to longer term work opportunities with Superact, in which we will be able to offer a sustained programme of work.
