The impact of our work

Between 2014 and 2018 Spaeda visited 87 schools to develop their arts provision, identifying strengths and opportunities, helping to sustain arts education partnerships across the county.

Our inclusive training and professional development opportunities bring school staff together, increasing confidence and skills to lead art in school and growing a community of resourced creative education leaders.

Our collaborative sketchbook project, SWITCHBOOK, supported by Arts Council England, brought arts leaders together to share skills and find creative space. The project was showcased as a model of excellence at the All Party Parliamentary Group for Art and Design in Westminster because of the way it encouraged partnerships between educational, cultural and artist communities.

Spaeda has supported over 200 schools to develop their arts offer for children and young people, finding the right people and resources for family engagement projects, one-day workshops, curriculum focus days and school arts weeks. See examples of our model projects and events here
