Sound Foundation Somerset Festival

It's going to be a busy weekend in Taunton! The Sound Foundation Somerset Festival will be in full swing with musical celebrations including flashmobs, street performances and workshops in the heart of Taunton town centre.

Spaeda are running a number of events during the festival, more details below - we hope to see you there!

Supporting Talent and Progression Wednesday 9th July @ The Museum of Somerset, Taunton Castle from 4 - 7pm

Somerset drinks, presentation by Jacqui Haigh from Sound Splash, regional case studies exploring progression models for disadvantaged young people, followed by an informal singing workshop, a special treat with Penny Dunscombe aimed at 'bathtub singers' of all abilities.

Inclusive Music Making Workshops Saturday 12th July @ The Brewhouse Theatre, Taunton

Count me in specialise in inclusive music making with young people who have communication needs, they offer a positive environment for young people to become part of a team making very simple and beautiful music using a range of instruments from around the world. No musical experience necessary- suitable for ages 8 upwards.
