Six Saturdays of arts and media activities for young people with disabilities

 

• Sat 21st September - Things to do with Music and Song

• Sat 28th September and Sat 5th October - Things to do with Film

• Sat 12th and Sat 19th October - Things to do with Sculpture

• Sat 26th October - end of project celebration sharing the films we have made and telling a story using sound.

 

When: Saturday, 10am-12pm (arrival from 9.30am)

 

Where: Great Bow Wharf, Bow Street, Langport, TA10 9PN

 

Age: for disabled young people aged 12+ years

 

Cost: You can attend sessions individually or book the entire programme for only £5 per young person per session, carer goes free.

Book all 6 get 1 session free (£25 to book the whole programme)

The sessions will be delivered by experienced and passionate arts practitioners from the InspirED partnership– SPAEDA Arts Education, Somerset Art Works, The Engine Room and Take Art.

 

More Info:

The sessions are aimed at parents / carers staying on site with the children and young people.

The flexible venue allows parents/carers to relax in the on-site Riverside café and meet others, whilst the sessions are running (subject to the individual needs of the young people attending)

Siblings welcome, although disabled youngsters will have priority over the spaces available.
