Artsmark is the national programme that enables schools, further education colleges and youth justice settings to evaluate, celebrate and strengthen a quality arts offer.
A new focus of Artsmark is to support Arts Council England achieve its goal of ensuring every child and young person has the opportunity to experience the richness of the arts by promoting formal education institutions to deliver rich and high quality provision. It will deliver this by providing

a structured and in depth online auditing tool

rigorous criteria against which applicants can benchmark their provision

the support of arts education professional throughout the assessment process

the creation of a network of organisations committed to high quality, broad and sustainable arts provision
Spaeda is the lead organisation for Artsmark in Somerset and offers training, surgeries and support to schools that want to apply. Membership schools are entitled to discounts on all of our Artsmark training.
Artsmark surgeries – these 1:1 surgeries at your school can be booked at a time to suit you. Price includes looking at a draft application.
£125 (plus travel)
£100.00 for Membership schools
Schools with memberships 2 or 3 can use their advisory visit as an artsmark surgery
In House Artsmark training – great for CLPs or groups of schools working together
£300 (plus travel) for up to 20 people at your venue
Artsmark Seminar – full training on the new scheme for those wishing to apply or reapply
