Wire Sculptures

Artist Fiona Campbell worked with year 9 pupils at Robert Blake Science college to create wire insect sculptures for environmental area. The students worked with Fiona to study insect form and patterns in nature, then used a range of skills including line drawing, design and selection, use of tools and wire construction.

The Students were extremely proud of their achievements.

The sculptures were designed to go in the garden environmental area but the school felt that the work should be seen by as many students and visitors as possible so an exhibition was arranged in the foyer of the school before the works were moved outside.

 Project Feedback
