DCATCH (Disabled Children's Access to Childcare) is providing combined training for parents, informal carers, childminders, playworkers, teaching assistants and other childcare practitioners to improve childcare for disabled children and young people.

Two day training entitled "Working together to improve childcare and partnership working with disabled children and their families"
20th and 21st January 2011

Working With Youth
An evening session delivered by Jeff Brown based around letting young people make decisions, how to negotiate with young people, managing more adult behaviours and how to make activities appropriate.
17th January 2011 - Taunton
20th January 2011 - Yeovil
24th January 2011 - Street
27th January 2011 - Bridgwater

Understand Child and Young Person Development
A one day course based on understanding child and young person development delivered by Rob Green, Educational Psychologist.
27th January 2011 - Mendip

Including Disabled Children In Risky and Challenging Play
A one day course to raise awareness and build confidence in including all children in risky and challenging play possibilities delivered by Di Murray.
1st February 2011 - Taunton

Positive Outcomes for Children and Young People
A one day course to understand how to support positive outcomes for children and young people delivered by Somerset Centre for Integrated Learning.
8th March 2011 - Yeovil
