Action Research and CPD

To support individual young people’s creative journeys we run developmental networks and projects for and with specialist and non specialist arts educators. Contact us to find out about opportunities to shadow artists on residencies and workshops or design your own action research project with us

Switchbook- ‘Switched on to art’ comprises a rich programme of action learning networks, cultural events, conferences and seminars. Arts leaders from cultural, educational, arts and academic organisations will participate at every level alongside young ambassadors (16-19 years) to test, share, inform and contribute to project activities, each bringing their own perspective and needs to the activity and leading outcomes. A collaborative sketchbook project called Switchbook will build a community of 40 arts leaders and young ambassadors working side-by-side, resourced by visits to cultural venues. Exhibitions of the collaborative sketchbooks and accompanying artist-led workshops will share the learning and creativity throughout the year.
