Students can now submit their work to the A-level Summer Exhibition Online 2010. The online exhibition is judged by a panel including Royal Academician and sculptor Richard Wilson.

To be a part of this unique project, teachers must first register their schools before students can submit their artwork.

The exhibition is open to all art A-level (or IB or Higher) students attending secondary schools and sixth-form colleges in the UK. It is online from 14th June to 22nd August at the same time as the RA Summer Exhibition, the world’s largest open submission contemporary art show. Of last year’s exhibition, art teachers described it as ‘amazing’ and a ‘brilliant idea’ which gives a ‘great confidence boost and motivator to students’.

The Royal Academy of Arts is unique among art institutions in that it is run by artists and architects. With its programme of loan exhibitions, postgraduate art school on site, and library and collection, the Royal Academy is a fascinating resource for a new generation of aspiring young artists.
