SAW Educ. ProgrammeContinuing on from the success of Somerset Art Weeks 08 educational programme for schools, Somerset Arts Works and Spaeda teamed up again to develop an education programme for this years event.
This year's focus was on building close working relationships between artists, schools and their local communities. Five artist were selected to work in five schools in Somerset; one in each district. During June and July each artist conducted a short schools residency working with the students to develop art works to be exhibited during Somerset Arts Weeks.
