Tailored email and telephone support
You may nominate people to request and receive advice and support tailored to your school or setting.
The aim is to provide you with a personalised service, building a picture of your school’s curricular and development needs, helping you to achieve them through creative learning and the arts.
Topics could include ideas for cross- curricular projects, multicultural activities, creative solutions for PPA cover and extended services, using the arts to explore PSHE topics or enhance programmes, such as SEAL.
Secondary and middle schools can get help with the Creative and Media Diploma, cross department projects, working with pupils at risk of exclusion and accessing high quality activities for gifted and talented pupils.
Countywide networking forums
Four art specific forums will be held twice a year; one for each subject area (Drama, Dance, Visual Art and Music) and will be open to teachers from all phases across Somerset.
These events will inform your professional practice; provide a forum for peer learning, discussion and debate, and provide opportunities to meet arts practitioners and representatives from the creative industries in Somerset.
Schools with Spaeda membership may reserve up to two free places at each networking event (normal price £40 per person).

The membership runs for each academic year from the 1st September to the 31st August the following year.
