Spaeda is the arts education development agency for Somerset

Spaeda is one of 10 Arts Education Partnerships across the south west region, funded by the Arts Council, SCC and 3 district councils, to increase children and young people’s access to high quality arts activities through a wide range of programs and services

Enhance the lives of children, young people and families in Somerset through the arts and creativity

What we do

Create more opportunities for children and young people to get involved in high quality arts activities

Provide a web of information and support for the arts and education sectors

Advocate for best practice in arts education, placing the arts and creativity central to children and young people’s development
