The purpose of keeping information about artists, educators and interested individuals is to be able to develop arts education within Somerset.

Spaeda is registered with the Data Protection Registrar - registration number: Z7643386

We guarantee your details will not be sold for commercial purposes.

The data may be used variously by Spaeda and anonymously collated data may be used by allied arts agencies/ funding bodies governed by the terms of the Data Protection Act.

Personal details will not be sold to manufacturers or marketing companies or other organisations for the purposes of creating mailing lists.

Newsletters by email will contain the means of allowing you to unsubscribe from that mailing list.

We will remove a person's name from the databases upon request. In agreeing to allow your details to be stored in the first instance you recognise that we may retain your postcode information (without the property address) for statistical purposes.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Remedies

In the event of Spaeda being found to have breached this privacy policy, it will undertake to remedy the breach forthwith.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable.
